I know that this may take some time to accomplish but seeing how Newgrounds has been in buisness since 1995-2010 I thought it would be a little interesting to make a Full scale sized replica of the Newgrounds tank with a few tankmen.
As of now I am trying to get a hold of some old friends I met who are in the armed forces, in an attempt to obtain or get a pricing on a decomissioned tank.
There is currently nobody backing me up on this, I have told Wade of this plan. All I can hope for at this point are for some people to help me find these items in order to help accomplish this task.
1: We need to find a decomissioned tank.
2: we need the colors for the newgrounds tank, and tankmen.
3: Anyone interested in this that knows of someone who is good at "etching" or "engraving" would be a big help as well.
4: anyone know of anyone who can make a plaque, would be a great way to comemorate the people who helped make this project possible, as well as celebrating newgrounds 15 years, while also listing the current staff at the time.
5: Location and placement. I have thought of this on my own and thought the Newgrounds HQ would be a great place to put this, which leaves a question of transportation.
6: if a sign or something isn't decided upon I thought it would be another good idea to give any users that see the tank the open chance to sign (key scratch the front of the tank) their username as their way of leaving their mark that they have been there.
I know at first this seems like a pipe dream, but I beileve if we try it would help show that newgrounds is out there and possibly may attract more people to come and join the site itself. Anyone that would help in this project would be remembered by everyone, who sat by watching us build upon this monument.

That site had already been suggested for buying Tom a tank, but it could easily be used to buy something that could be transformed to resemble the NG tank.
Considering the appreciable amount of money raised by NGers for various causes, it shouldn't be too difficult to conglomerate a sum sufficient to purchase a moderately sized tank.

The many problems of this are financial, to get people to donate to the cause would mean some massive event in hopes of a donation or something. Which brings up yet another problem of transportation. I'm glad you gave me a link to that site so I'll bear that in mindwhen Looking for a tank that matches a similar Identity to the newgrounds tank.
