I know it's not castlevania.

I tried to imagine something else but listening to this, I can't help but imagine Simon Belmont back in castlevania again. This sounds like a lost tune to the first Castlevania and it's actually well done, not much more I can say other than it reminds me much of castlevania lol.

I think the fact this got top 5, is very well deserved and well played at that. It's not too loud or too soft, it's got a perfect harmonious feel to it. As a fan of Morrowwind, I declare this a win.

What is a monster but your inner self, corrupted and morphed into what you can't bear to handle? It's is an emotional demon that feeds on your soul and on who you are. To try and hide it, is to cut the shackles that bind it. To feed it is to become it. It's sad to say but that is what happens to the people around us, we try to think that they have a nice personality or physical being but deep down their monster or demon could be worse than yours. It is mean to say but heros who return from war, may be greeted as such but those with a trained eye can see their monsters festering on their openly scarred mind, slowly corrupting them to become what they're trying to protect everyone from. It is a fate that can be worse than death but if you can kill off your monster and try to live without the memories that scarred you so badly, you can learn to control it's essence as your power, but the curse of having it will always remain whether it's dead or not. That is the true burden carried by soldiers and warriors alike, both then and today. I like this piece because it's a reminder of what we're capable of, both constructive and destructive. I want to say thanks for making this and hope to see more.

[Taste of Deception]

Such a sad piece.

Almost like you haste and vanity had caused too much damage to those around you, so much emotional and mental damage that everyone who tried to help you looks at you as a deceptive person bent on manipulation. I could see this fitting rather well in a story of the protagonists mind as they recall all the events that had lead to their downfall. It's one of those songs that can haunt the very depths of your imagination should you let it play too long. I could think of much more to say if it was longer but it is still a marvelous piece of work and I give you a 10.

Still because of the fear the lyrics could possibly hinder this piece, I'd submit one with lyrics and one without. I'm curious to knowwhich one the people would love, because this being a preview as it is.... IS JUST FUCKING SEXY. [Insanctuary - Discovery]

I feel it's only fair to review this one as well.

I try and make each comment unique to it's own nature and fit accordingly to each piece of work, I can gladly say though with pure love and honesty this is more of a song to give you that feeling of tranquility and serenity, even knowing what's going on outside isnn't the happiest of things to come. The few select sounds that sound like children, remind me of memories of me and my cousin before her passing.

The memories and good times through rememberance with the feel of this master piece of work playing gives me this eerie yet calming emotion, one I am not familar with. I wonder though, did you put memories of your past into this piece of work in hopes that someone would relate to it through emotion and the feeling of knowing you for a very long time? I think with each piece of music of yours I listen to, I am slowly discovering parts of me I never knew existed. I know this could be or not considered a review but a story, but I feel this little bit here I have said to you here is also a part of me that loves this track so very much. Without any further words I will gladly say I look forward to your next piece.

Mhmm, actually. I compose through essence. I am well aware of our psychological patterns, and the pure essence that derives in each, and everyone ; everything's actions. So, I know how our childhood was, and I know many has forgotten the days of our purity. When strength, lies, and other pest like commands to our mind was completely oblivious to our heart, we were just us, there was no system or control. No force, or white projects as I call them. To make us endure something that is unseen, influencing us to this day, bad or good. We had no bad or good, we didn't care about prices, or other pesky stuff. We did though, WANT more of something after it was given to us, because most likely, that food you give the baby has minerals, and other components that makes you crave for more. Alot of the stuff we eat, makes it where we become numb to the healthy foods, like veges, fruits. Etc. It's just like sex. I can promise you, if someone started fapping to a more major subject like child porn, or bestiality, they will lose that touch for normal sex, because they become numb after feeling the pleasure they got from going with something unatural. So in a way, these babies want more through vicarious blindness. ^^

Anyways, Thankyou for another dearly beloved ''story'', and thankyou for taking your time to write it. I am honored to have provide you pieces you have surpressed until now, and will continue putting these hidden aspects of ourselves into whole one day :D. Good day to you Kanon. [Insanctuary - A Decision]

it saddens me...

To see such a beautiful song, the very inspiration of creativity and imagination to be wasted and misused in vain by the kitty krew. This song is my inspiration for me to one day become a level 60, mod and possibly going for the chance to work at the newgrounds hq someday in hopes that I can make a change where others have failed. All in hopes of keeping the audio portals true beauty preserved and tributed appropriatly without the knowing that someone such as the kk will come along and disgrace it.

This is the song of dreams, with the feeling that nothing could shoot you down, and the inspiration to make a better change for everyone a reality. I want to thank you the author personally for making this and inspiring me to try something in hopes of keeping this site clean and running better, all to keep true pieces of work like this preserved and honored the way they should be.

I agree. The KK were just being assholes. Lol. I found it amusing at first. I mean, there was no way in stopping their dishonorable agendas. I can only laugh at their childish behavior in the end. I mean really, being upset isn't going to change anything. XD

I'm surprised you liked this one to be honest. It is kind of a generic piano. I do like it. Dont' get me wrong. I just think, that this review would've been perfect for my song ''Discovery''. Maybe even my 4th song, that I will soon finish after I get my headphone set replaced. Not this one, because obviously, this song was a test merely, to grant me a connection with my higher potential. It has worked gracefully, and my 4th song that will be coming out sometime later should present this thoroughly.

Ahhh dune...

I can't quiet explain it but it feels like it's missing something, I mean honestly it's an amazing remake, but I think maybe it's missing a few back tracks of the original soundtrack itself, I give it a 9/10, and a request if you will because I myself am a dune fan, but can you remake the Harkonen "rise to power theme"
